Our comprehensive, praise-based curriculum takes a cutting-edge approach to dog training. Students will learn about modern, science-based techniques and canine behavior. We strive to provide a strong foundation of Learning Theory and application, holistically teaching solid handling skills through extensive hands-on practice.
Students will also learn from Grace Dog Training & Behavior Owner Ana Melara, and other business experts, about the business side of dog training, including how to start a new career, build and grow their own company, client relations, marketing, and more.
Finally, at the Rocky Mountain Regional Dog Trainer Academy, you become more than a student — you become part of a team and a community. We develop relationships with our students, so we know how to best encourage their unique strengths, interests, and dreams. We’re there each step of the way, offering guidance that helps students increase their knowledge and hone their skills. Upon admission, you will have access to the RMRDTA private Facebook group. You will meet all current students and graduates.
